Just when you think you’ve scrolled through every last photo from Oscars weekend—including red carpet dresses, beauty looks, and after-party outfits—there’s still more fashion greatness to uncover. Case in point: Net-a-Porter’s celeb-filled party co-hosted by designer LaQuan Smith. The event celebrated Smith’s debut on Net-a-Porter’s website, where his dresses, bodysuits, skirts, and more will surely sell like lightning.
Tiffany Haddish, Ava DuVernay, Julia Fox, and January Jones were among the attendees. Jones’s outfit, in particular, struck me because she managed to make the trend I wore in 3rd grade look chic again: capri pants. Wearing a LaQuan Smith plunging red jumpsuit, Jones may have single-handedly brought back what my mom would call pedal-pushers. Who would have thought?
